Unconfirmed: BlackBerry Tour Coming to Verizon July 12th for $200 [Unconfirmed]

by on Jun.27, 2009, under BlackBerry, Home Automation, Smartphones, unconfirmed, Verizon

Boy Genius Report found in an internal site that Verizon’s soon to be fleshing out its rather anemic smartphone lineup with the BlackBerry Tou r on July 12th for $200 after contract. This lines up pretty nicely with what we already know; we knew the Tour was coming soon , and Sprint has already set the price of the upcoming BlackBerry at $200. So this is still unconfirmed, but we don’t see any reason to doubt it.

Computing Classic: Video on How the Airforce Protected Us from Attacks in the 1960s [Retromodo]

If you’re short on time, I recommend watching the simulation of how the system would assign and deploy fighter jets and surface to air missiles to each threat, which is at about the 20 minute mark.

Non lethal chili grenades —think about the potential here. A handheld weapon made with the fiery Bhut Jolokia chili would burn, devastate your orifices, and add a spicy kick to your dinner.
