They weren’t joking when ASUS said they had some tablets in store for us this year. The Eee Pad runs Windows 7, and comes in two sizes: 10 and 12-inches.

Only a small portion of the pill you swallowed earlier is actually an active ingredient, the rest is filler. That bit of information is what caused researchers to explore a way to start printing active ingredients onto blank filler tablets.

Last December, One Laptop per Child ‘s XO-3 tablet was an impossible dream : semi-flexible plastic, multitouch, sci-fi thinness, all for $75. And while a partnership with Marvell helps breathe life into XO-3, it won’t resemble winter’s fantasy device.
