I’m imagining a Venn diagram of 1.) People who’ve already built a PC compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.) people who are gravely concerned about data security. The middle section is quite large! Hence, the Super Talent SuperCrypts . These jumbo-sized flash drives , which are backwards compatible with USB 2.0, have been built around AES hardware encryption, with 128-bit ECB and 256-bit XTS encryption for the Standard and Pro Editions, respectively.

"Typeface" Creates a Typeface From Your Face Type [Fonts]

File Mary Huang’s Typeface, a piece of software that analyzes your face in real time to create a custom font, in the “projects preceded by their puns” category. But unlike some things with that designation, Typeface is surprisingly functional. Stick your face in front of a webcam and Typeface will analyze it live to generate a custom font, stretching and shaping the letters dynamically as you make different faces and change the proportions between your features. If you want to immortalize the space between your eyes as the space between your “i”s, you’ll have to get in contact with Huang yourself; Typeface is currently only a piece in her design portfolio.

In 2009, Samsung’s shipments of flat panel TVs (plasmas and LCDs) rose 22.6%, making them the number one US supplier, moving 6.6 million televisions in all. But you know who grew way, way, way more? Vizio. Between 2008 and 2009, Vizio nearly doubled their US sales, which grew 92.1% as the company sold 5.9 million TVs—that’s nearly one out of every five LCDs sold, or enough for them to claim the title as #1 in LCDs.

This two-foot tall AT-AT Walker is very possibly the most ridiculous boys’ dollhouse ever constructed. It is goddamn enormous . It holds over 20 figures; Luke Skywalker even dangles between its legs. You have to see this thing up close: It’s the largest toy AT-AT Hasbro’s ever produced, and amazingly, it’s only $100
