It’s time for movie night and you have several cellphones but no decent-sized TV or monitor. No worries! With Motorola’s “Reconfigurable Multiple-Screen Display” technology you’ll be able to turn that pile of tiny phone screens into one big display. Motorola’s patent filing describes this technology as something that allows the displays of several phones to be “configured to act like one to run applications” or stream videos while “maintaining the same aspect ratio.” Basically, you stick them next to each other and pretend that there are no bezels in the middle of someone’s face

Tokyo Flash watches are outlandish enough as is—so you can imagine how badass their concept design would be. This Hexagonal watch isn’t real, but Tokyo Flash could make it so—with the method of telling the time surprisingly simple. For Tokyo Flash, at least.

On February 17th, an air traffic controller let his little boy take the reigns for at least five transmissions to commercial jets at JFK International. This was terribly dangerous breach of protocol! And so totally awesome for the kid. So many questions here: why’d the pilots go along with it

Nokia and Alpine Team Up For Ovi Maps Integration In Cars [Navigation]

Ovi Maps has been a focal point for Nokia in the last few weeks since they gave it all away for free, so it’s not surprising a hardware company wants to use their turn-by-turn navigation for cars. If you’ve got an Alpine car system with a dashboard or speakers, then you’ll be able to connect your Nokia handset by either Bluetooth or USB, with navigation displayed by Ovi Maps on the dashboard. Navigation updates and music can come through your car’s speakers rather than the Nokia’s puny little speaker, and even information about the fuel levels and engine health can be integrated into Ovi Maps, so if you’re in need of fuel for example, Ovi Maps will tell you where the next petrol station is.

Sprint Cuts Palm Pixi’s Price to $50 [PalmPixi]

Capitalism! Sprint was cool offering Palm Pixi for $100, until Verizon’s Palm Pixi Plus slid in underneath at $79. Well Sprint’s having none of that, slashing the original Palm Pixi’s price to a mere $50 for new customers, after all of the rebates and contracts and what have you. Remember , the candybar Pixi doesn’t have Wi-Fi and has a slightly smaller screen than the Pre, but if you or someone you know isn’t quite ready for a big boy phone, a $50 Pixi could be hard to resist. Also remember , hard times ahead for Palm.
